Haha, Scary Book?
I'm just obsessing over Junji Ito right now. I just read Uzumaki for the 4th time.
Everyone, you should read Tomie by Junji Ito if you haven't already. It's really good.
I have. It's good, and creepy.
Akumetsu
The Tarot Cafe- It's about a psychic that tells fortunes to humans and supernatural creatures.
Atelier Marie and Ellie: Zarlburg Alchemist.
I made an attempt, so I am trying to read Youkai / Inuyasha It's not bad. I just have trouble getting past black and white panels.
Break Blade, because I'm curious to see how it differs from the anime.
Death Note
Chrono Crusade
Circumstances of a vegetarian werewolf
Inaba of the Moon/Inaba of the Earth
Reading Medaka Box, just finished the Minus 13 arc.
First it's a sports and slice of life manga, then a battle manga and then a deconstruction of shonen battle manga that spits venom at the genre and I hear it eventually becomes a romantic comedy. The amazing thing is that it all works really, really well.
Have you seen the anime for Medaka Box? I was thinking of checking it out and then jumping into the manga afterwards, but you know how these adaptations are. Sometimes they differ from the source material way too much.
Not too many people like it, but mainly because it only covers the early chapters of the manga, which is honestly the weakest stuff compared to the pure awesome that follows. I heard Gainax wants to make another season, though.
Eh, I'm fine with that. I was mainly just interested in whether or not I can watch the anime, then continue the manga where the show ended. (because I'm lazy like that.)
what's with the Neon Genesis Envagelion manga? i read the first chapter online and it differs a good deal from the show.
Cat eyed boy- It's a manga about an outcast from the demon and human world who lives in people's attics. Wherever he goes, tragedy happens. It's not scary, but it's good.
