The most recent laptop I have here is like 8 years old but I got it used as junk (paid $1), I'm spending about $55aud to upgrade it to 16GB DDR3 ram and 1TB sata.
The other laptops are slightly older, only have 8GB ram and 500GB drives but are still ok for what I use them for (torrents, ddl's and also messing with files for consoles that I have).

PS4 Pro I got used a few months back (was below 9.00fw) only cost just over $200aud with a controller. I already had a launch fat PS4 anyway which is on 5.05fw.

I'm mostly a but I do buy physical games, blu-ray and some DVD movies/tv shows. I stay away from digital purchases unless there's no choice (usually DLC for stuff I own).

    idk
As I said I can't be bothered with keeping up.
I only do research for small upgrades with old stuff I have, spend a little money and keep using stuff for years. Everything works for what I need but I don't play PC games I do re-encode vids on one of my lappys sometimes, but that hardly ever happens now since I got a cheap android box (used for $1) to hook up to my tv (put CoreElec on it so now it's minimal OS and plays a bunch of codecs/container types). Previously I had to re-encode x265 and some other odd stuff back to x264.

I moved over to laptops years ago as a power saving measure.
Now more than ever it's important to try to balance cost of electrical equipment and the power they use.

I have one laptop running 24/7.

My NUC idles at around 7w and tops out under 35w under load according to reviews. Not dealing with maintaining another battery is a nice bonus.

Was in town doing some stuff, dropped into work on the way home and spotted a Gamecube controller (black) in a box of stuff out back.
Really good condition so I bought it

    [CUSA31967] Syphon Filter Update v1.01

This is SDK 9.50, has been backported to 5.05 - 9.00.
Apparently the game is bin/cue inside so this could lead to other games being ported using the emu
