I downloaded RE3 from EP but whenever I try to play it on EpsxE I just get a black screen.

In order to get Resident Evil 3 (PAL) working you need a patch file in the patches folder of ePSXe
But as I don't have EP's version I couldn't tell you if thats the PAL version you have or not

Hmmm... I tried to mess with the patches but i couldnt figure it out. I dont know wich one to use and none of them seemed to help.

You might wanna check out the Help doc EPSXE comes with.In order to get Resident Evil 3 (PAL) working, you'll need to apply a PPF patch to it. To get one, head over to NGEmu and locate the PPF download area ! For further informations about PPF patching, check out the Features section !
