    Default NeoGeo emulation problem :(

    I am having problems running Blazing Star and Pulstar on Kawaks. I have gotten Metal Slug 2, Metal Slug 3, and View Point all to work on Kawaks but when I run BS and Pulstar the visuals are all scrambled and weird. I can't even see the ship. I downloaded these games from EmuParadise.

    When I use the audit function for blazstar it reads like this:

    The audit for Pulstar reads very similar. I have tried redownloading these games but the same problems occur.... please help me.

    What it means is that you have the wrong roms for your version of Kawaks, you need to either find the latest version of Kawaks (if yoiu don't have it) or search around for the right roms.

    EDIT--
    You actually have the MAME roms, not the Kawaks

    You need to either get MAME or find the roms for Kawaks

    arcade emulation isn't made easy by the fact the roms are changed almost as oftem as the emu's are updated

    I'm sure that rom set works it's just finding the correct emu/version that runs em

    sorry about the triple post.

    Am I wrong to assume that all EP NeoGeo roms were dumped in a similar fashion? Any emulators besides MAME, NeorageX, and Kawaks that might play EP roms?

    Congrads It is a good feeling when you finaly get it to work...

    Ok I think that you are wrong, with the EP NeoGeo rom thing... the staff of ep had nothing to do with the dumping of the roms... they are just roms that someone gatherd up and uploaded to the EP server, they could be from
    any number of sources, and have been dumped by any number of people...
