This is most probably the same as Biohazard - Beta 2 I think. Some info for it have been seen on other sites (A Polish site though)& judging by the file size it looks likely to be Beta 2. Basically if its the same its just a Beta version of Biohazard 2 (that was sent out to testers)with both of Leons Scenarios on the one disc which gives the choice of which scenario you want to play. It also has a Debug menu which allows you to jump to certain points in the game & lets you choose from all the weapons although some make the game crash. A lot of the Final FMV's are also missing from this version aswell.
Keep us informed once you get to play it. Any chance you might put this on the Tracker fultz once youv'e finished dl'ing it as I wouldn't mind taking a look at this myself to see if its any difference to the Beta 2 that I've got, as only some parts of the Debug menu work & there is supposed to be a version about with a fully functional one.

38.15mb left to go, wasn't there a torrent of beta 2 somewhere? If so, where? I have not played the beta 2.

There were 2-3 torrents of beta 2 on our tracker, but they stalled and died at some point. So even if this beta 1.9 actually is beta 2 it'll still be usefull if you torrent it Plus if this is something different I'm sure somebody will toss you beta 2 in thanks.

Either way, a new torrent is a good idea
*PSA* Wii Redump collector's can now unscrub ISO files. So scrubbed games can now be verified. You can find the program to do this here

According to the read me that came along with the file, this is the earliest beta released to developers to play (Beta 1.9). (I will Torrent it later today when I get more space after I upload SkimMilk's Games.)

    Resident Evil 2 - Beta

    About:
This is the first beta version given to
beta testers for Resident Evil 2. This includes
the A and B games of Leon. I like to call this
    Resident Evil 1.9 because Claire's game wasn't
completed by now along with the fact that some
of the CG sequences aren't in it. It works perfectly
even though the in game has some bugs (like seeing through
parts that are supposed to be solid) and some pre-rendered
backgrounds weren't finished. It's also the hardest
version of RE2 becuase of some differences.

    Notes:
This is a JAP game, but they speak english.
If you have played RE2 before you'll know
exactly what the options do, even though they
    are in japanese.

    Release Notes:
    Ripped - RARed: 3/3/04

    Enjoy!

Heres some screenshots of stuff from the Beta 2

    First off the Debug menu

If you go down to the Jump part & move left & right it only allows so may places to jump to. Press Triangle to increase this number from 100-700
As you can see in this version the only thing in the debug menu as an available option is the Jump, Highlighted in white. The grey options cannot be used but a version with all options usable is supposed to be around

Heres an image of seeing through brick walls

And some of the unfinished pre-rendered backgrounds
