    Default Playstation 2 Emulator

    I was reading somewhere in one of the forums I believe it was a yousendit forum that you could run a ps2 game on an emulator already. I have been looking for one for a long time since my playstation 2 is broken with the laser calibration problem. Is it true that there is a working ps2 emulator? If so which one is it and where can I find all the files in order to get it up and running?

    pcsx2 is the only working emulator, but it works horribly. it only plays a little bit of games, and the games it does play, it plays them at a VERY slow frame rate

    PSX ISO list coming soon (once i get more lol)

    To tell the truth, none of the current-gen systems have perfectly working emulators, so don't expect to find GS, Xbox or PS2 ones either. We've gotta wait a LOT for these to work almost 100%.

    I also love when people say that "Yeah, the emu is nicely developing, runs almost perfect"... this doesn't mean that it'll actually run commercial games or be playable, but for debugging your home-coded PS2 applications, it's fine. Like that would ever happen.

    Yeah, i've tried all 3 of the current gen emulators and here's what i find:
    PS2= doesnt run good at all
    Gamecube= the games run soooo slow( like 7 to 15 kb per sec)
    Xbox= only emulates Halo 1

    if you go to www.ngemu.com , they have alot of reviews of all of them including some other emulators. They have screenshots of the ps2 emulator, and if you ever do check it out, notice how most of the screenshots are just 3d model tests. which goes to show you that not even the 3d models emulated in the emulator hasn't been completed yet. I figure that these emulators such as the PS2 and everything will be a long time before they are decent enough to run good.
