Creating an ISO of an xbox game?

You can't make an ISO out of an XBox game by popping it into your PC. You have to use a program on your modded XBox to send the game to your PC as an ISO, which you can then burn, just as you would any other DVD ISO.

I use CXbox, and I am having a tough time finding a link for it... Anyway, you FTP to the Xbox, and read straight from the Xbox DVD drive to an ISO on the PC, then burn with DVD Decryptor (well, that's how I do it )

In that case, which one do I download? Do I just put it on my xbox via action replay? A tutorial of this would be so sweet

Check out the tools on xbox-scene.com. You need to have a chip/softmod and be able to FTP to your xbox. You can then transfer the files from your HDD/DVD drive to your PC drive, which you then you a program such as Craxion or qwix (i think thats the 2 i use) to create an xiso, then you basically burn it like a normal DVD image.

My xbox is softmodded. Im confused.. do I use CXbox on the xbox or my pc? Where should it be installed? Ill figure it out im sure..

Just wanted to let ya'll know I successfully created my first back up of game.. FTP'ed the discs contents to my PC, made the iso using Qwix, and burned it with DVDDecrypter... so easy.. Thanks to everyone for ALL the help in this process of mod'ing my xbox!
