Right now, I am reading Knight. It's about witchcraft and... I shouldn't spoil it. It is interesting, though. And, good action.

Cage of Eden is pretty cool. Depicts the life of airplane passengers who are mysteriously transported to an unknown island inhabited by extinct animals and their struggle for survival.

Like I mentioned in the anime thread, I've been reading Amanchu, the new manga from the author of Aria. Because I'm in that sort of mood. And, well... as expected, it's basically Aria in a modern day setting if you replace "gondola rowing" with "scuba diving". The resemblence is truly uncanny, right down to the super-deformed cat who happens to be the supervisor of the school's Diving Club. (sound familiar?)

    (Also, fantastic art syle.)

Keeping up on Vinland Saga despite the AMG ONCE A MONTH, ALWAYS A CLIFFHANGER chapters.

Also reading Girls of the Wild's or however it's actually supposed to be formatted, because manhwa totally counts.

Started Saturn Apartments. Interesting manga. It's set in the future, people live above the Earth(like the Jetsons). The main character just finished school and started a job washing windows. It's a dangerous job, because years ago, his dad died washing windows. It's a good manga.

    Franken Fran was awesome.

But it needed more of Fran's sisters, and Veronica needed more hugs.

    Spoiler warning:
During that chapter where Fran was split in two, I couldn't help but smile when the kind Fran hugged Veronica.

On chapter 181 of Majin Tantei Nougami Neuro and it hit me with a fucking wham set of chapters. Nearly done and I'm really enjoying it.

The Color of Earth-It's a trilogy of books about the author's mother. It's set about two generations ago in Korea. I'm assuming probably the 1940-50's. It's about a girl and her mother in a tiny village. It's about first loves and second chances at love. The mother falls in love with a traveling artist, the daughter falls for a young monk. There's recurring theme of flowers representing the love, and longing. It's very poetic and sweet.I highly recommend it.

Neuro is done so now I'm reading Assassination Classroom, a current running series made by the same guy.

It might very well be the greatest thing ever written.

Full metal Alchemist. I love the anime and I love the manga.I like that it's tragic sometimes, but there are genuinely funny moments too.

    Choko!

Made by the writer of "It's Not My Fault I'm Not Popular!"

Basically, very similar to that series, making comedy with the most awkward human being imaginable. The difference this time is the person in question will not leave some poor nerd alone and is messed up in a completely different way, from getting a noise bleed while watching the main character use the bathroom to riding around in a seal themes motorcycle and even forcing the guy to wear a wedding dress and take a picture with her while she's wearing a nosebleed stopper device so blood doesn't get on her clothes. All in a serious, focused but not mean expression.

And that's just the first chapter.
