ePSXe 1.6.0 problems

I'm having trouble with my epsxe. I need it speed up better sound quality and better graphics. These are my current cofigurations.

Video.
Pete's PSX Open GL Driver 1.75 set to "Nice"

Sound
ePSXe SPU core 1.5.2.

Computer specs.
Proc: pentium 4 at 2.80 ghz
RAM: 256 mb
Graphics card:nividia GeForce2 mx/mx 400

please help

set the frame rate to auto and autodetect in your vid settings

this will detect the iso's or cd games fps then set the emu to that rate.

if it's running laggy on the laggy side after that you need to lower some of the other setting for your video plugin

On a side note, you might want to consider getiing another 256 mem and a new GFX card, in that order

well that makes it too slow I've tried that.

set it to fast then build up the gfx setting till you get the best speed (switch the auto settings back on though for the FPS)

And are you running from ISO or CD?

CD for Legend of Dragoon Final Fantasy Origens and Final fantasy 2 (4)

honest this will improve on the game speed of ePSXe running it in general.

Hmm ya i think its slow because its running it from the cd because my computer has a worse gfx card and my legend of dragoon runs very well. Maybe it has something to do with what programs are running? are there alot of programs running when you hit ctrl alt delete and go to the procces tab if there are alot of programs running there that might be the problem.

Would updating ur graphic drivers help? If worst comes to worst try Pete's P.E.Op.S v1.16 for video plugin
