Ok so i got the awsome Snatcher game from konami it's from Hideo Kojima and yes it's set in the Metal Gear Universe way way in the future
I've been google-ing it and apparently
- All Sega CD and Mega CD games are burned in unprotected ISO-9660 Mode 1 CD-ROM format. As a result, they can be copied at will with any decent CD-ROM burner and the appropriate software.

Does this mean that I don't need a mod chip or any boot CD, game shark devices if I was to get myself a Sega Megadrive/mega CD II
BTW: There are about five games i'd love to play on this machine for anyone saying Sega CD sux... you are partly correct it probably had the worst good game to bad game ratio of any console, but dam games like Snatcher really make me wan't one (The Sega CD ver of snatcher is the only native English Translation with voice overs and I must say the voice acting is top notch -as well as the colour pallet which for a sega CD game is actually the second best game with 192 colours) #The best ver is on Saturn yes better than the PSX ver though it's not in english
1. Lunar: The Silver Star
(GameArts/Working Designs)
2. Snatcher
(Konami)
3. Sonic the Hedgehog CD
(Sonic Team/Sega)
4. Lunar 2: Eternal Blue
(GameArts/Working Designs)
5 Shining Force CD
So am i getting ahead of myself or is the machine fairly flimsy on the security side?
