Help EP Get a new server

Hi,
Over the past few months, EP has been recieving more and more visitors per day. Currently we get around 200,000 hits per day to the website. However, to serve the downloads, we have a menial 20Mbps server. Not enough to serve everyone. Infact, the download speeds are capped at 10kb/s per user and each user can have only one download going at a time. Sometimes, I agree, this can be a pain in the ass. In view of this, I've decided to upgrade our servers to either a 50Mbps line, or a 100Mbps line. However, these two are extremely expensive propositions. A 50Mbps server would cost around $800/month and a 100Mbps server will cost us about $1500/month. Honestly, we don't have that kind of money, so I'm asking you to help.

We won't get money if you sign up from Europe. But yes, a search on askjeeves does get us �0.015. It's kind of low however, we're not allowed to incentivize (so to speak) the askjeeves offer, that is, we can't ask people to search on it so that we get money, explicitly. Don't want to be breaking any rules .

but if its for the sake of the sites improvement its not a bad thing i guess,in my case its ok and ill use askjeeves for my searches ,as for the signups i cant since im from mexico

Looks pretty good. We've made $40 on the first day itself. That's not a bad start IMO : ). If we continue making $40 everyday from now on we could go in for the 50Mbps server, however, we'll need more signups per day to get the 100Mbps one. Oh, and by the way with our current load schema, on a 50Mbps server, we'd be able to provide each downloader with atleast 25kb/s download speed instead of the current 10Kb/s, obviously, on a 100Mbps server it'd be double of that .

Something you should note if you sign up for one of the offers.
You should set up "feeder" email accounts to recieve the spam that tends to come with these offers.


Myself, if they offer a Nintendo Revolution, I'd probably sign up for one of those sponsoring deals, but as always, use fake email accounts to handle spam...

If you handle them right, you can cut the strings from the dodgy free stuff deals.

No you don't have to complete the offer for us to get money. Just the first part where you put in your email address/contact info.

We don't have any resources to offer faster downloads unfortunately so that gets a little difficult. The whole idea is to actually be able to get a better server y'know : ).

Yes ofcourse, we'll offer faster downloads for users who sign up since we'll need to keep paying for the server, that is once we get the new server ofcourse.
