    Default HP4 & 32k roms

I'm working with a SuperCard + flash Compact 512MB on a GBA SP.
When i'm using the loader coming from the supercard, for the real time saver the globet of fire don't work (white screen), the strange is that the original GBA is 32.840kb and on the SP is loading 32.839kb.
I loaded the rom without real time saver (gba size 32.768) and the game is working but there is a saving failure and no chance to save so all is useless.

I have the same problems on big size gba as riviera or sims2

    Any suggestion or help.

    Thanks

Here is a quick fix for potty 4

Saved on my EZFA card after I created the patch, before it kept saying it failed to save or something to that effect.

Potty 4 used a new saver type thats all, I beleive though that your card get firmware updates so there maybe a firmare update that will fix that anyway in the future (shame the EZFA cards are no longer supported )

My card is an 256 Mbit (32Kb) EZFA and for the 32KB games I had to trim them in hex to make them both fit and run (There should be a bunch of 00 hex data that can be removed, but trim progs will not do this because the data is not at the very end of the rom)

Sorry for the late reply I've been working more on the NDS than the GBA the last few days but thought it was worth a shot to fix this anyway

Thanks I'll try to load the patched gba this evening.
Talking about upgrade firmware here in Italy people do not suggest to upgrade supercard from 1.44 to 1.55 if you are using only GBA and not DS.
Do you see some problems doing this?

I can't realy comment on that not owning a supercard but on the same note I donn't see why it would do any harm I know the last couple of firmware updates are more for DS compatability than GBA though, see what they say on there home page/forum or documents with the firmware updates, if there is no GBA side updates then there isn't any point in upgrading the firmware, or if they mention anything being broken in firmware version ???.

Edit:- let me know how the patch goes for you

Used your patch, fine, no more message of saving failure, loading on the compact flash the plain rom but when the gba is turn off the saving is lost.
No way to let HP4 working with the real time saver, i tried to trim the rom with gbata, before and after your patch but the screen is always white.
Upgraded supercard to 1.52 but same problem.
My dougther should be convinced to play this game with the VBA on pc.

    Thanks

:/ sorry it didn't help I know my card kept the save, but my card has Real Time on by default and can't be turned off at all.

Because I don't own a Supercard I don't think I can be of any more help with this one but keeping an eye out for a patch by some of the hack groups that release patches on the No Frills website, is worth doing.

Playing on a PC isn't such a bad thing specially if you have a control pad
