    Unhappy ff12 extraction problems

So, I downloaded the ff12 zip files from this thread, I used the fileserv ones. I extracted all of the files and what I get is a file called FFXII [NTSC-U] [SLUS-20963].7zip file for all 7 extractions. Trying to unzip this yields nil and gives a "cannot open file as archive" error. I have a hankering that this is the .iso file but they all have the same name. Any ideas on what to do?

I did on the original downloaded file which is titled zfinfandvenadcatshtati-lob.part1(through 7).rar. After that I get a folder named zfinfandvenadcatshtati-lob with a folder named Final Fantasy XII [NTSC-U] [SLUS-20963] inside it and a file in that folder named Final Fantasy XII [NTSC-U] [SLUS-20963].7z. Extracting this final .7z file gives an error that I stated above. All 7 files when extracted give this same file name and none of them can be extracted. I hate to dl them again because it took me forever but if I need to I can. If you can think of what else I could to let me know

then try using winrar. if this also doesn't work then there is a problem in the archive..... Don't download the SAME file again try download ffXII from other sites or try downloading with the help of a torrent client....

that did the trick. for some reason 7zip wasn't extracting all the files together. winrar did and the second winrar file, the one i couldn't unzip before, is currently unzipping into the iso file. I've never had this problem with 7zip b4 but thank you for the help

Question. instead of a .iso file I got an img file and a bunch of irx files and a Pad 2 folder with another irx file. any reason why. I've never extracted a ps2 game before but all the ps1 games I've extracted have given iso files so this is quite confusing why it won't give a .iso.

u just have to mount the .img file with deamon tools (or burn it with nero if u want to play it in you own ps2).... don't bother about the other files...

no need. I forgot I had checked the .iso file for winrar to be able to extract and i extracted the .iso file because it was still appearing as extractable and I was mindlessly looking for a .iso.

you may need to update your 7zip version to avoid problems in the future with 7zip.
