its out on pc now?
There's no SMB for PC, I guess you mean the GC ISO to play in your PC. Anyways, edit your post before a mod spanks you for offering music and movies to trade for it and I'm sorry, but theres no GC emulator yet that lets you play this game in your comp in all its glory.

ISO is a game file for emulators...like ROMs are for Visual Boy Advance
The is no emulator for Gamecube yet, so there's no ISO...
oh well i cant believe they dont have one for GC.
oh well
u can get 1 4 N64 u no. its pretty different but if u really want the gc 1 u could buy it, they're really cheap now coz the gc isnt doin so well (sigh)
I hope you're kidding. Nintendo port its games to PC? You can probably find an iso for most current generation games, but you'd need a modded Gamecube to play it. It's been done, but if i'm assuming correctly that the reason you want the iso is because you played SSBM at a friend's place and you want it but can't afford it on your allowance, that is out of the question and you are SOL. Hell, even if one of the GC emulators being developed could play commercial games right now, you'd need a hefty rig (Athlon64 3200+/Geforce7800/1GB ram or P4/ATI equivalent) to get it running at a bearable speed.Originally Posted by beezwax

and so theres no way a game could get copied and played on the computer that sucks.
There are several GC emulators. One of them (Dolphin 1.3 beta) can run comercial games but does not support the majority of them. The games that it does run are not fully supported and run like crap (I got all the way in game with Resident Evil 4 and then it froze, it took me a long time to get to that point because it is soooo slow).
Dolphin is open source now and the most advanced GC emulator to date. It supports many things now including MC and better sound. At it's current state though it is not worth hunting down GC games to play and because the original dev's don't work on it to much anymore the development is moving slow.
Not to mention you need a pretty nice computer to emulate the GCN remotely well(after the emulator has been coded well enough). I'd expect you to need a very nice video card and a powerful CPU, even then it probably won't be perfect.
I know there is a homebrew game somewhere, I played the port of it on my PSP awhile ago. I have no clue where to find it. N64 Super Smash is probably your best bet, or wait a few years.

actually, ROM files are from ROM dumps, so all cartridge games are called 'ROM's.Originally Posted by MoloMowChow
All game files made from CD are called ISOs, because of the commonly used .iso file extension and the ISO9660 file system.
While the only GC game currently playable on an emulator is Bust-A-Move 2000, all GC games, as well as all PSX, PS2, GC, and Xbox games that are saved as computer files, are ISOs.

Actually the GC games file format after being ripped via streaming is originaly.gcm not .iso format.
